NYC: Studio Representative

New York, NY
Part Time
Entry Level

Studio Sales Representative
At New York Pilates, we're looking for an exceptional Studio Sales Representative to be the face of the New York Pilates brand.

This is more than a front desk role, it's an opportunity to create memorable first impressions, build lasting relationships, drive studio growth, and deliver an experience that keeps students coming back.

As a Studio Sales Representative, you'll play a key role in the success of the studio by combining exceptional hospitality with a strong sales mindset. You'll welcome every student with warmth and confidence, help prospective students find the right membership, promote retail and studio offerings, and contribute to the overall performance of the business.

If you love connecting with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are motivated by both exceptional service and achieving results, we'd love to meet you.

Who You Are
You genuinely enjoy making people feel welcome. You're the kind of person who remembers names, anticipates needs, and creates an experience that makes every student feel like a regular. You bring positive energy to every interaction, communicate with confidence, and know how to turn conversations into lasting relationships.

You're equally comfortable delivering exceptional hospitality and driving results. You enjoy helping people find the membership that best fits their goals, recommending retail products they'll love, following up with prospective students, and contributing to the studio's growth. You don't shy away from sales conversations, you see them as an opportunity to help people invest in their wellness journey.

You take ownership, stay organized, and consistently look for ways to improve the student experience, support your team, and leave the studio better than you found it.

Before You Apply
This role is probably a great fit if you:

  • Have 1+ year of customer-facing experience in sales, hospitality, retail, boutique fitness, membership sales, or another service-focused environment.
  • Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales, conversion, membership, or performance goals.
  • Enjoy building relationships and naturally create memorable customer experiences.
  • Are confident initiating conversations, recommending memberships and retail products, following up with leads, and asking for the sale.
  • Are energized by working toward individual and studio sales goals.
  • Are organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.
  • Communicate confidently and remain calm under pressure.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Can commit to at least 15 hours per week, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Are excited to immerse yourself in the New York Pilates brand by taking classes and becoming a product expert.

This Role Probably Isn't the Right Fit If You:
  • Prefer behind-the-scenes work over interacting with people throughout the day.
  • Feel uncomfortable discussing memberships, recommending products, or asking for the sale.
  • Don't enjoy working toward sales goals or being accountable for performance metrics.
  • Struggle in fast-paced environments where priorities change throughout the day.
  • Prefer routine over variety and don't enjoy solving problems as they arise.
  • Aren't excited about creating an exceptional experience for every student.
