Why Join New York Pilates Instructor Training Certification?

At New York Pilates (NYP), we’re not just a Pilates studio—we’re a movement. Our mission is to bring mindful movement to everyone, and our team is at the heart of it all. We are building an A+ team with talented individuals. And, we are here to help you along the way! 

Become a 400-hour certified Pilates Instructor with a scholarship to New York Pilates Instructor Training Program. The Scholarship program was created to be completed in 32 weeks (7.5 months). We take on a cohort of 5 students twice a year with partial and full scholarships available. The program covers comprehensive Reformer Group training emphasizing contemporary Pilates and anatomy. New York Pilates Instructor Training Program is a $5200 value for 400 hour pilates certification.

Scholarship recipients will receive an email stating which scholarship they have been awarded and the start date for their cohort. If your application is submitted after the deadline you can be considered for our next cohort. The scholarship is an unpaid educational opportunity designed to support those passionate about advancing their Pilates education; while it is not a paid work-study program or job offer, trainees may separately apply for Studio Sales Representative roles at NYP to gain industry experience and earn income while studying, providing hands-on exposure to NYP’s studio operations and brand culture and creating a seamless transition from student to certified instructor.

The full scholarship covers the tuition cost of the Comprehensive (Mat + Reformer) programs at New York Pilates valued at $4,800.00 USD. Additional expenses are not covered and are therefore the responsibility of scholarship recipients, including:

Eligible students must:

• Live in our Hamptons Market to be eligible for the Scholarship 
• Be 18+ years of age
• Have taken at least 50+ Pilates Classes as a Student
  • 5 of which must be from NYP
• Must be ready and able to complete the comprehensive program in full within the 7.5-month time limit (Extension fees will apply if this limit is exceeded)

Application Requirements:

• Complete a Wedge (one-way video interview) of your reason for applying for the scholarship

  • Please complete the assessment within 48 hours of receiving this message and reply to this email with your results attached or a summary of your findings.

Scholarship Program Requirements:

• Upon receiving notification that you have received the scholarship, return the signed agreement to [email protected] within 7 days 
• Enroll and start the Comprehensive program by the deadline stated in the initial email.
• Twice monthly check-ins
• Meet all requirements of the Mat+Reformer while maintaining a professional demeanor during the program and taking responsibility for your progress.
• Complete all program requirements and test out within the 7.5 months of starting the Comprehensive program.
